We began our second day of filming today, and admittedly we went with very little in mind when it came to narrative. We all had some idea of the camera shots we wanted but it was what was going to be filling the shots that was the problem. With a very broad idea of camera angles and shots we felt it would be best to just leave the camera rolling, which allowed us to capture any shots that we thought looked good and the more unsteady shots we discussed could potentially be used for our Kaleidoscope.
We hadn't actually planned where we wanted to begin the filming but the group liked the idea of filming around the stream in Grovelands Park as we thought it would fit very well with our other shots of nature from our filming day at Alexandra Palace. The stream and the very natural surroundings coincide with the vibe we wish to create for our music video. We really wanted to ensure that all four of us were present in the shots, which we found quite difficult as one person would have to be filming at any time but we managed to work around this and we don't think this will be an evident problem in our final footage as we have a great deal of shots with everyone present.
All in all it was a very productive morning of filming and we plan to get cracking on the editing when we return to media on Wednesday. Here are a few photographs of the group testing some shots...
